Got questions about colors, materials, or mounting setups? This flag FAQ covers everything you need to know about how we build, embroider, and care for our flags. These steps ensure maximum durability across every adventure.
Sizing and Material Specs
We offer two heavy-duty shapes engineered to minimize wind drag and avoid premature fraying:
- Rectangle Flags: Available in 13″ x 22″ and 10″ x 15″.
- Triangle / Pennant Flags: Available in 12″ x 18″ and 10″ x 13.5″.
- Do you make larger flags? No, sorry we just stick to our smaller flags.
- What materials do you use? We craft every flag from premium 200 Denier Oxford Nylon. We refuse to use cheap, thin fabrics that shred at speed.
- Is the embroidery on both sides? Yes! We embroider artwork on both sides of every flag. Your design reads correctly on both sides.
Vehicle Compatibility & Mounting Setups
Our heavy-duty burgees mount securely to standard whip poles, light rods, and rail hardware across nearly any outdoor setup:
- Off-Road & Trail Machines: Can-Am, Polaris RZR, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, buggies, sand rails, and ATVs (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki). Always verify local whip height and safety guidelines via Tread Lightly!
- Automotive & Overland Rigs: 4×4 overland trucks, utility bumpers, and passenger cars.
- Marine & Watercraft: Pontoon boats, sailboats, airboats, ski boats, and kayaks. Review standard rail and mast visibility regulations through the USCG Boating Safety Standards for open-water navigation.
- Recreation & Mobility: Recumbent trikes, electric bikes, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, go-karts, and child bike trailers.
- Camp & Yard Setups: Playhouses, garden markers, tents, and hammock posts.
Care Instructions & Custom Orders
- Why do custom flags cost more? We stitch genuine embroidery on both sides using heavy-duty materials designed for longevity.
- Do you sell mass-produced checkered or American flags? No. Most wholesale options use flimsy polyester that tears instantly on the trail.
- How do I clean my flag? Simply wipe down the fabric with a damp cloth and warm, soapy water. Standard dish soap, laundry detergent, or baby wipes work quickly.
- Can you make my flag hang from the top? Yes! Just add a note to your order with your request.
- Where can I view more setups and ordering details? You can review customer builds in our customer pictures gallery. Or read our complete custom flag information guide

Tips for Selecting High-Visibility Contrasts
To make your text and logo pop from a distance, pair light threads with dark base fabrics, or bold, dark threads with light backgrounds.
